World Appliance Terms and Conditions

NEW parts are subject to manufacturer’s warranty, typically one (1) year. REBUILT parts are subject to a one (1) year warranty. USED parts are subject to a ninety (90) day warranty. Part failure within the warranty period will be replaced at no additional part cost but may be subject to shipping, handling, labor and other fees. All parts and labor will be subject to the original invoice purchase or install date for warranty and guarantee time lines. Parts may be replaced up to a maximum of one (1) time under this policy. Any parts that are no longer available within the warranty period will, at the discretion of World Appliance, be either: refunded the part and tax costs (does not include shipping, handling, labor and other fees), OR replaced with a used part, OR replaced with an aftermarket part. All fuses have no warranty.

Refrigerant, commonly called Freon, has no part warranty or labor guarantee unless:
- Refrigerant sealed system must have had a mechanical repair or part replacement and is only warrantied for one (1) year if the repair is faulty and leaking. No warranty will be given for new leaks or different part failures.
- Refrigerant sealed system that has had a charge of leak stop added is warrantied for one (1) year.

World Appliance offers a thirty (30) day labor guarantee on used part installs and labor only repairs. A one (1) year labor guarantee on all new/rebuilt part installs. No Service Charge fee if authorized work is completed within thirty (30) days of diagnosis, not applicable to warranty work or customer provided part installs. Service charge fee is only valid for the same appliance with the same symptoms within thirty (30) days. No parts warranty and/or labor guarantee for partially repaired work. All estimates and quotes are only valid for thirty (30) days. No refunds for expedited services.

Customer provided parts have no part warranty or labor guarantee and will be subjected to additional costs if removal is required.

NEW water heater equipment comes with ten (10) year manufacturer’s part warranty and a two (2) year World Appliance labor guarantee.

NEW swamp cooler equipment come with a one (1) year manufacturer’s part warranty and a one (1) year World Appliance labor guarantee.

NEW HVAC furnace and condenser coil equipment come with a ten (10) year parts manufacturer’s warranty; evaporator coil equipment comes with a five (5) year parts manufacturer’s warranty. NEW HVAC equipment installs come with a five (5) year World Appliance labor guarantee. Up to ten (10) year World Appliance labor guarantee available while maintaining continuous WORLD-365 maintenance service contract from date of install.

Warranty covers manufacturers defect only. Appliances or parts that have been tampered with have their part warranty and labor guarantee voided. Warranties and guarantees are void if standard maintenance is neglected, if appliance is not installed or used per manufacturer’s instructions, or residential appliances suspected of use in a commercial capacity. World Appliance is not responsible for any damages, food loss, and/or loss of use caused by part failures.

World Appliance offers a $5/day appliance storage fee. This fee automatically begins 10 days after notification of repair completion. Appliances left for 40 days after notification of job completion will be considered abandoned and sold or disposed of, unless extended storage fees are authorized and paid for by the customer.

Loaner appliance program. Any theft or suspected malicious damage of the unit will incur an $900 replacement fee. Returned loaner units that are deemed excessively dirty units will be subjected to an additional $60 cleaning fee.

Returned checks are subject to an additional $50 fee. All unpaid invoices will be subject to a 5% monthly compounding interest rate to begin thirty (30) days after job completion. All deposits are non-refundable.

World Appliance is not responsible for any shipping delays due to Factory Back Order, weather, holidays, lost or damaged deliveries or other events outside of our control. All shipping fees are non-refundable.

World Appliance does not accept returns on any parts. All sales are final, no refunds, returns or exchanges. Special Order parts not picked up within sixty (60) days of arrival notification will be disposed of and no refund given. All parts with a CORE CHARGE must have the old part returned within ten (10) days of pick up to be refunded the CORE CHARGE.

Our insurance carrier requires us to inform you that due to the nature of your appliance(s) installation, any damage incurred by our service technician to the product, the surrounding cabinets, structures, facades, counters, flooring, appliances and/or other nearby objects, when removing or installing your appliance for diagnosis, service and/or repair(s) in performing your requested service will be your responsibility, and relieve us of any cost of repairs or damages, should damage occur. Naturally, we will be as carful as possible.

World Appliance reserves the right to refuse service.
